Fincham family research

A number of Finchams are researching their own family history. We would like to record here their results, and provide advice and resources. Please email the webmasters with information

Descendents of Alfred Fincham

Gary Fincham-Turner has traced his descent from Alfred Fincham, the last-mentioned person in the pedigrees of Blyth's book, establishing the first link of which we are aware from the Finchams of Fincham to the present day.

Research of Dianne McDonald

Dianne McDonald has traced her descent through the Suffolk Finchams back to 1566. She has a document "The Fincham Family of Norfolk and Suffolk" and accompanying "Records of the Fincham Family of East Anglia", both compiled by Robert Fincham. The documents are too extensive to copy, but she is willing to to share information with others doing related searches.
